GROW IT!      BAKE IT!      MAKE IT!

The Johnson Farmers’ Market provides much more than produce and products directly from our farms to the customers within a warm inviting country atmosphere. It is a meeting place for people who value fresh home grown produce and quality home products and who understand the value and importance of buying directly from the source. It is a celebration of what’s local – truly a great shopping experience.

LOCAL Community: If we can’t source the produce/product within Community then we look to Algoma, then possibly
NORTHERN ONTARIO: If we can’t source the produce/product in Northern Ontario, then possibly
ONTARIO: We do source cheeses from Northern Ontario and Niagara fruits (peaches, plums, pears).

Welcome to the Johnson Farmers’ Market

A shopping experience that offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits, honey & honey products, maple syrup and maple syrup products, delicious baking, stone ground flour, alpaca yarns for knitters and weavers as well as socks, mitts, local meats, farm fresh eggs and northern Ontario cheeses.

The 1200 sq. foot timber frame addition added in 2015 to the existing pavilion in Desbarats, thanks to FedNor, our local Mennonite community, Township of Johnson and the organizing committee. The additional space contributes to a relaxed atmosphere and true country hospitality.
