The Sault Community Theatre Centre (SCTC) has launched a new monthly raffle initiative as part of its ongoing efforts to expand opportunities for community support and continue growing arts programming in Sault Ste. Marie.
The monthly raffle gives community members a new way to support the Theatre Centre while also having a chance to win cash prizes. Funds raised through the initiative will help SCTC continue building new programming, community events, and artistic opportunities in the city as part of the organization’s recently launched five-year strategic plan.
The raffle is also part of SCTC’s broader “In The Spotlight” initiative, an ongoing effort focused on putting the community itself in the spotlight by creating more opportunities to showcase local talent, celebrate regional stories, and bring new artistic experiences to Sault Ste. Marie.
“This is about more than just running another raffle,” said Garrett Abrams, Theatre Manager / Artistic Director of SCTC. “It’s really an opportunity for the community to invest in the future of this vital work here in the Soo. Every ticket helps us continue building new opportunities for artists, audiences, and young people in our region.”
The draws will take place on the first Friday of each month, with winners announced through SCTC’s social media channels. SCTC’s new raffle initiative is part of the organization’s broader commitment to strengthening and expanding access to arts and cultural experiences in Sault Ste. Marie.
