The Purple Hill Country Opry is located just 2 miles North of Hwy #2 on Purple Hill Road, near Thorndale, Ontario. Opry shows are on the first Sunday of every month, featuring great Canadian talent from Country Music Hall of Famers and Top Recording Artists, to Juno Award winners and budding stars on the way up! Jeffrey Wright is one of those performers.
Jeffrey has long been a country music performer with aspirations of someday hitting the big-time, the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee. While playing Purple Hill, Wright’s sound caught the attention of country artist and producer, Brian Moon. Moon asked Jeffrey to accept an invitation to a Montreal recording session with Nashville-based Clarksville Creative Sound, and country songwriter and producer Curt Ryle. Jeffrey said yes, and recorded three of his songs from his back catalog.
