Kevin’s Life is the first book written and illustrated by Piper Lee Frech. The idea of writing, let alone illustrating, a children’s book was not something Piper ever planned on doing, so the fact that the book exists is a bit of a surprise to her – and there’s merchandise and an activity book! Piper’s labour of love has turned into an experience that has been life affirming.

Piper Lee Frech lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada with her family. She is passionate about nature – especially animals. As a little kid she played with stuffed animals instead of dolls! Not surprisingly, her children share her love of living things. She was deeply moved by the way her family rallied together for the life of a tiny helpless squirrel and is sharing the story to raise awareness and confidence in families everywhere.
