Emily Cormier

Emily Cormier is a newly published author. She writes and illustrates her own children’s books. Emily is from Sault Ste Marie ON where she likes to take in nature and various sports; such as snowboarding, mountain biking and hockey. In her spare time, she writes poems and hangs out with her furry best friend, a little Bichon named Molly. She aims to write books that give simple life lessons in a fun and silly way. She wants her young readers to laugh and grow with the characters in her book. Their imaginations build character that help them learn and see, let their dreams take them places set their imaginations free.

Larry The Lion Goes To The Dentist is about a young lion that has a fear of going to the dentist. Larry realizes that he has not been brushing his teeth as often as he should. He also realizes that he may eat to many sweet treats. Through the encouragement of his friends he builds up courage to go to the dentist. Where he learns that the dentist is not scary. He also comes to realize that eating healthier treats, and brushing his teeth more frequently are good choices.
