Al Wood – Woodshedding With Al Brian Tremblay
Brian Tremblay: On this week’s episode I speak with Sault Ste. Marie blues artist Al Wood! He is an outstanding musician who now lives in Gatineau, Quebec. Wood is know for his whiskey-throated blues sound and growling harmonica that entices you deep into that state the blues demands. We discuss his early days in music in the Sault, we hear some tunes from a very early band of his, The Rhythm Rats, some great blues musicians he’d love to jam with, coping in today’s music reality and what brought him to the blues.
