On this episode, we find Jacob Quarrell at 23 released his remarkable debut album, Small Town Troubles, and isn’t afraid to relate heartfelt details behind the fourteen tracks. It’s a work of rock and pop tunes that was self-produced at his makeshift home studio.

Quarrell says he’s, “Just a small town boy, trynna make some music, got big dreams, big heart, and big feet.” He adds, “All my life I was a singer. From the moment I was born, I came out screaming and my mom knew I was a singer. I took a real interest to music at the age of 11, and from that moment on it changed my life, exploring the creative channels and roads that would lead me to where I am now. I guess I would classify myself as an alternative singer-songwriter, but really I’m just a person that enjoys music.”
