Miss Emily – Lake Ontario Soul Adrian V
Miss Emily lives with a gratitude that “the backbone, foundation and history of the music from which I make a living is rooted in the black community. Without their contributions, I would not have a career in music; plain and simple.” Miss Emily is a full-time soul musician. She sings it, she writes it, and she plays it.
Miss Emily grew up around Lake Ontario in scenic Prince Edward County before moving east to Kingston, where she got serious in establishing her music career. The Maple Blues Awards has decorated her three times, and with a Juno nomination to her credit, Miss Emily finds herself working with some of the industry’s top musicians both in the studio and on the road, her comfort place as a touring artist and devoted, loving mother.
“An angelic voice with just a hint of sultry devilishness. This gal is a rocket ready to take-off!”
