Eric Brombacher finds the work of putting together a good song invigorating as he leads his band Eric & The Soo. Recorded live off the floor, Phoenix, the group’s fifth full album release, finds the Toronto-based band in excellent form. The songs, six originals and one cover, delve into themes of friendship, making a living of working on the road and discovering what makes the whole experience worth the effort.
