Kathy Valentine – She’s Got The Beat

Brian Tremblay: If you had told me when I was in high school that I would be interviewing a member of this band for my own internet radio program, I’d have told you you were crazy! I still have their first album in my collection. She is an author, songwriter, musician, mother, and most notably a member of The Go-Go’s. Today, I speak with bass player Kathy Valentine. Kathy has a new book out called “All I Ever Wanted” and even a soundtrack that goes along with the book. She’s a solo artist, her own band is called The Blue Bonnets, and has even done some acting in movies. We also talk about returning to school to get her degree, and more book and music projects she has on the go.
