Lily Kangas – The Doghouse Series

Lily Kangas is a fibre artist, elementary school teacher and author. She lives with her husband, Chuck, and their five fabulous fur kids – Rascal, Roxy, Finnegan, Lila and Charlotte. She enjoys writing the funny stories about her dogs.

Upon retiring from teaching Lily entered a new career as a writer. Lily is still teaching, this time through her writing as a children’s book author. Her love of rhyme and poetic structure are central to the messaging that Lily publishes.

The books are illustrated by Lily, using Canva. Her books are self published under Lily Garden Books.

The Doghouse Series (7 book collection) is available downtown at 529 Queen St., Stone’s Office Supply’s local book section, and also at Darkhorse Pet Boutique at 500 Industrial Park, both of these are locations in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
