Mary Bazeley: A Conversation – The Superior View Lisa Tucker
Mary Bazeley has lived an incredible life, approaching her mid 90’s at the time of this conversation, and a mother of 12 children, 30 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mary grew up in London, England and moved to Canada after WWII, eventually finding a home in Sault Ste. Marie. While building her family Mary somehow was an active member of the Sault Ste. Marie arts and theatre scene and lived in Africa at one point – all while enjoying every bit of her great deal of time being a mother.
Mary is in the process of writing a memoir for her family, so the ladies decide to give her a phone call at her home in London, Ontario to get a few stories about a most extraordinary life being lived. Mary says talking is her favourite activity.
