Renée Landry is an old soul bringing to life the classic sounds of the jazz and Motown eras with a modern age twist. On her 5-song EP, Memoirs Of A Broken Heart, her trademark powerhouse blues vocals are turned down somewhat to a more tender delivery that reflects the difficult emotions involved with a relationship that has deteriorated to its end. Backed by her 8-piece soul band, The Cool, the record hits the perfect notes.

A classically trained musician, Renée has performed at numerous venues and events over her career including NAC Fourth Stage, Ottawa Jazz Festival, and RBC’s Ottawa Bluesfest, to name a few. Renée’s music often graces the Canadian airwaves on CBC Music, and has been streamed all over the world from the UK to Japan.
