Shane Chisholm is a Sault Ste. Marie, Canadian born award winning Country/Americana artist now working out of Nashvile, TN.
In addition to his 4 CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) awards,
Chisholm was voted Alberta’s very first Male Artist of the Year by the Alberta Country Music Association and has received several nominations for CCMA Roots Artist of the Year.
Shane was profiled in The American Publication “Country Weekly Magazine,” received a 4-star review in the UK’s Maverick Magazine and was nominated for Country Recording of the Year through the Western Canadian Music Awards.
With a solid reputation as an interactive entertainer, you will always find him leading sing-a-longs and various activities to involve the audience.
As a show bonus, Shane crafts musical instruments from recycled material and adds them to a show when needed or requested.
Some examples of his work include; a gas tank bass, an upright bass made from a Chevy Astro van fuel tank, a Stanley Cup replica upright bass, and a musical metal angle grinder that can play chromatically up to 3 octaves.
