In the movie industry, the genre of horror has always done very well at the box office. The film Dracula is credited with being the first in its classification, hitting the silver screen in 1931. And ever since, horror films have only increased in their fan appeal, spawning several sub-genres. Interestingly, data shows that women – more than men – are bigger fans of the genre.
