We meet the young man from a beautiful island halfway around the planet, at the outset of a 3-year course at Sault Ste. Marie’s Algoma University. JR speaks on his motives for this podcast series as he goes into a brief history of Sri Lanka, its culture and relationship with neighbouring India, and he looks outward with comments on the problematic situation in the Middle East. JR gets controversial because he’s not afraid to speak the things on his mind, but diplomacy is at the heart of his mission.
