THE BORDERLINE
The Borderline is about us, people who come from and near the Soo on the St. Mary’s River, at the heart of the Great Lakes.
The music played and the stories told on The Borderline are from us, by us and about us. It is who we are.
The Borderline’s hope is to make your life richer through music and the arts. We aim to inspire heart, mind and spirit by creating meaningful listening experiences on air and in a live setting.
Our website is also dedicated to the visual and performing arts, complete with detailed information on upcoming events.
We commit to a culture that is relevant to music lovers by providing a one-of-a-kind listening experience, delivered with excellence in content, programming and execution.
We showcase the music of the twin Soo, Algoma and Upper Peninsula regions to build and strengthen our shared community.
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and the Algoma District live north of the St. Mary’s River, while Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and the Upper Peninsula live south of the river, joining Lake Superior to Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.
It truly is an amazing view from outer space.
