Rock’n’Roll Fiction Brian Tremblay
Host Brian Tremblay has some fun this week, throwing us a curveball from the world of rock’n’roll in cinema. The film from 1927, The Jazz Singer, is credited with being the first of this kind, where fictional musicians release real music. Since then, of course, we have had numerous movies about fictional bands on the silver screen, that have made it onto turntables and earbuds. It’s a list too long for all of them to be included in a single episode, so Brian takes us through a half dozen of his favourites and gives us a few movie reviews in the telling.
Song List
