We talk with Sault Ste. Marie Arts & Culture coordinator, Todd Fleet, and with woodland artist Thomas Sinclair, whose work shows at the Roberta Bondar. And we also speak with art therapist Maria Parrella Ilaria of The ArtSpeaks Project, an exhibition partner of the festival.

Going on in the Soo downtown core to close out a year like no other. Whether you travel by foot or by car, Winter Lights will shine on the city’s downtown paths, walkways and streets, festooned with art and music and evening sparkle.

This is a FutureSSM initiative. The public are encouraged to participate, simply by going downtown to take in the sights and lights.

FutureSSM is a forward-thinking division of the Community Economic Development and Enterprise Services (CDES) Department at the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

FutureSSM is implementing our community’s collective vision to build a great city where people want to live, visit and do business.

FutureSSM’s team is working alongside community members to fulfill and build upon the recommendations laid out in the Community Adjustment Committee Report, A Common Cause and New Direction for Sault Ste. Marie.
