Episode 22: Troy Lindner Is The Wandering Fisherman

Troy Lindner is the current host of AnglingBuzz TV (Fox Sports) and The Ontario Experience (The Sportsman Channel). Born and raised in Minnesota, he grew up in a fishing family with four relatives in the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame (Al, Ron, James and Bill Lindner) — more than any other family. Son of the legendary angler Al Lindner, Troy’s passion for the outdoors runs thick in his blood. He also has a passion for fitness and traveling.

His dedication to fitness allowed him to compete for Arizona State University on the track and field team. After graduating from ASU, he moved to Los Angeles and started a personal training business working with many top personalities in TV, music and sports.

An avid bass tournament fishermen, he has won over 40 events in the West, including the 2016 Wild West West Bass Trail Angler of the Year. Nowadays, he splits his time between California, Canada and Minnesota working on the TV shows and enjoys journeying across North America and beyond to explore new fishing opportunities. He has traveled and fished all over the world; sharks in Florida, halibut in Alaska, Australia for barramundi, Netherlands for zander, Japan for bass and trout, Switzerland and Italy for carp. You name it, Troy’s probably caught it.
