Of this episode, Brian says: I’ve met this guest once and mostly through our contact on social media. He has some family ties, via his wife, to the Sault area. He is Marshall Lawrence, the ‘Doctor of the Blues,’ and he really is a doctor! We talk about how he became a doctor, what drew him to the blues, his latest EP that is out, and his infamous resonator guitars. He lived in California for a while and played in a blue grass band, eventually making his home in Edmonton, from where he spoke to me. Great guitar playing tunes!
